Beth Ulrich, EdD, RN, FACHE, FAAN
Pearland, TX

Beth Ulrich is a nationally recognized nursing leader who is known for her research on nursing work environments and the experiences of new graduate nurses as they transition into the workforce as well as for her leadership in developing the roles of nephrology nurses and improving the care of nephrology patients. Beth began her nephrology nursing career in 1972 and served ANNA as Secretary and Southeast Vice President and as President in 1984-1985. She was recognized for her contributions to ANNA in 2009 when she was awarded “The Outstanding Contribution to ANNA Award." Her book, Mastering Precepting: A Nurse's Handbook for Success, was named a 2012 AJN Book of the Year.

Karen C. Robbins, MS, RN, CNN

Karen Robbins has held a variety of clinically focused positions in nephrology nursing, both in dialysis and transplantation, including kidney transplant coordinator, nurse clinician in transplantation, staff nurse in dialysis, and nurse educator in dialysis and transplantation. She has experience as a nephrology nurse consultant and legal nurse consultant. Karen has served ANNA as Northeast Vice President, Treasurer, President in 1997-98, and President of the Colonial Chapter. She served as a Director for the Nephrology Nursing Certification Board (now NNCC). She was recognized for her contributions to ANNA in 2003 when she was awarded “The Outstanding Contribution to ANNA Award."

She holds a joint appointment with Main Line Health as a research consultant. She also is an acute dialysis nurse for Liberty Dialysis.

Linda Wright is the Clinical Manager of Abdominal Organ Transplant at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
