Assessing ANNA Membership Needs in Pursuing Nephrology Nurse-Led Research

The goal of the ANNA Research Committee is to promote the development of research-based nephrology nursing practice congruent with the Nephrology Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice. This includes educational programming that unites practice, education, and research, promotes the completion and publication of research, and works toward an evidence-based practice, including facilitating use of research findings in practice.

To achieve this goal and subsequent objectives, the committee invites ANNA members to complete a brief 2-minute survey. The survey aims to provide insight on the needs of ANNA members concerning pursuit of research activities, including research experience, grant submission, and barriers to research development. The committee will utilize member feedback to design resources and activities to further stimulate nephrology nurse-led research throughout the organization. A response is requested by August 18.
