Dialysis Provider and Patient Volunteers Needed to Participate in Interviews Regarding Patient Life Goals

The University of Michigan Kidney Epidemiology and Cost Center (UM-KECC) is seeking volunteers to participate in a telephone interview to provide feedback on a new short patient reported outcome (PRO) questionnaire on patient life goals.

Two types of volunteers are needed:

  • Clinical dialysis providers (clinical nephrologists, renal nurses, renal dieticians, and renal social workers)
  • Individuals (18 years or older) who have experience on chronic dialysis (in-center hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, or home hemodialysis experience)

To volunteer, send a brief, one paragraph statement describing your interest and experience to dialysisdata@umich.edu by September 12, 2019. All interviews are strictly voluntary and will be about 20-30 minutes in length.

Contact dialysisdata@umich.edu or affjorda@med.umich.edu with any questions.

Note: This work is sponsored by UM-KECC’s contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services [Kidney Disease Quality Measure Development, Maintenance, and Support contract, contract 75FCMC18D0041, task order number 75FCMC18F0001].
