In September 2018, ANNA received a $100,000 contribution from Fresenius Medical Care North America (FMCNA). In recognition of ANNA’s 50th anniversary year in 2019 and Nephrology Nurses Week (observed annually during the month of September), the donation will fund an ongoing scholarship program, help increase awareness of the profession, and strengthen engagement with nurses dedicated to caring for patients with chronic kidney disease.
